Collaborative coding (or paired programming) refers to two or more developers work together using only one machine. In primary or secondary schools, such pedagogical practice can drive students to proofread and spell check the codes written, while also figure out the next steps in a collaborative way. This develops the 4Cs skills and especially fosters collaboration and communication skills among students.
Una is a novel online platform supporting micro:bit and MakeCode. It serves as a teaching and learning tool in which students can design codes collaboratively for the micro:bit in STEM-related activities. Those STEM-related problem-solving activities develop the four most desirable abilities of the 21st century.
