The use of student support plan is a strategy on supporting students with additional learning needs. It is mainly created for students who require additional strategies to succeed, but not at the stage where IEP is needed. The student support plan consists of various questions that help the teachers to gain more insight about the student as well as strategies that support the learning process of the students, both in class and at home.

訂立「學生支援計劃」是一項有效幫助需要更多學習支援的學生的計劃。這項計劃主要是幫助學生去制訂策略，以助他們邁向成功之路，而非等到他們需要進行「個別學習計劃」的階段才制訂計劃。「學生支援計劃」包括為老師提供各種問題，以幫助教師更深入地了解學生的需要，提供學習策略支援以幫助學生在課堂和家庭中學習。
