The application of AI in education is becoming more popular. In order help students learning at home and develop self-study habits of students with intellectual disabilities, the school has introduced the 'One Life, One Robot' program with sponsorship from School Development Fund. The program aims at providing each student with an AR robot and the robots can become their teachers and companions. Students can learn simple English words by interacting with robots using graphics cards and real objects. In addition, students can use Augmented Reality (AR) technology to scan their own paintings into animations. The speaker will share progress of the project and hope audience can have better understanding of learning trends of students with intellectual disabilities.
