Hong Kong Evangelical Church Yan Lam Community Service Centre launched “Joyful Kids, Hopeful Steps” Community Support Service in Special Educational Needs(SEN) at 2012. We provide popularized SEN support and consultation service to children and families by means of toy library, group training, individualized training, case work and community education. Social workers use early learning and educational toys flexibly in group and individualized training, so as to enhance the social communication ability of children with ASD. We share our experience and practice wisdom to families, and provide early learning and educational toys through the SEN toy library.

香港宣教會恩霖社區服務中心自2012年起開展「童‧喜‧步」特殊教育需要社區支援服務，以玩具教具圖書館、小組訓練、個別訓練、個案工作及社區教育等方式，為區內兒童及家庭提供普及化的特殊教育需要支援及諮詢服務。在個別及小組訓練過程中，社工針對自閉症幼兒的特徵和需要，靈活運用早教玩具，以提昇他們的社交溝通能力，並取得顯著成效。服務同時將有關經驗與家長分享，配合玩具教具圖書館的資源，達至家庭充權的目的。
